Inbound Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an Inbound Officer to join our logistics operations team based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This position is key to maintaining precise and efficient inbound receiving processes by verifying shipments, ensuring quality control, and handling proper documentation. The candidate will collaborate closely with warehouse personnel, transportation, and quality assurance teams to facilitate smooth daily operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and carry out inbound receiving activities including unloading shipments
• Verify incoming goods against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documentation
• Inspect the quality, quantity, and expiration dates of products to ensure alignment with company standards
• Immediately report any damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies
• Manage batch processes and ensure correct labeling of received items
• Arrange and move received pallets to designated storage zones within the warehouse
• Coordinate with truck scheduling and manage gate operations to minimize delays and congestion
• Keep accurate records of all receiving transactions and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Prepare daily reports detailing receiving activities and any discrepancies found
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational protocols at all times

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least one year of experience in warehouse receiving or similar inbound logistics roles
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology
• High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of working efficiently in a high-paced warehouse environment
• Physically able to lift and move materials and stand for extended durations as needed
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline is preferred
