Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager will oversee and coordinate all activities related to personnel management, recruitment, administrative functions, employee well-being, and public relations, aiming to meet the company’s strategic objectives by optimizing employee skills and competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep recruitment progress reports, talent databases, and staffing communications current and accurate.
- Efficiently handle all local staffing requests.
- Organize orientation programs introducing new employees to the company culture and operations.
- Track budget versus actual salaries and workforce counts, informing the General Manager of discrepancies.
- Manage payroll administration ensuring smooth and effective processing.
- Collect data to benchmark salary and benefits packages.
- Prepare data required for annual salary reviews and performance appraisals.
- Provide expatriate staff with necessary information on compensation and benefits.
- Identify, address, and report employee complaints, disputes, and grievances to the General Manager.
- Promote a positive work environment through employee relations initiatives and communication strategies.
- Conduct onboarding, exit, and grievance interviews across all departments.
- Support the handling of local labor tribunal cases.
- Regularly review and update the staff rules and regulations (employee handbook).
- Develop and enforce employee policies and procedures.
- Submit personnel budgets and headcount summaries to the Finance Department.
- Prepare and provide monthly payroll journals and headcount reports to Finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with at least 15 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
- Alternatively, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, 5 of which should be in management.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic, with strong written and oral communication skills.
