About the Role
Join BSI as an experienced and employee-centered HR Generalist within our People team, supporting the complete employee lifecycle across the UAE or Qatar. This position involves managing diverse HR functions including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits, employee relations, and HR operations within a global matrix environment. It requires balancing local labor law compliance with global policies to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience. The role also offers guidance to local HR Administrators to optimize HR service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary HR point of contact for staff and supervisors across one or multiple countries.
- Oversee end-to-end human resources activities such as onboarding, contractual updates, benefits management, leave administration, payroll coordination, and exit processes.
- Keep precise and compliant employee records adhering to country-specific HR documentation standards.
- Render first-level advice regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee management matters.
- Assist managers with routine HR workflows and promote best practices.
- Coordinate payroll information and support regular payroll operations.
- Handle employee relations issues by triaging and escalating complex situations appropriately.
- Stay informed on local labor legislation to ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
- Contribute to regional and global HR projects including leadership development initiatives, system upgrades, and performance management enhancements.
- Strengthen collaboration within the People team and broader business to ensure smooth employee experiences.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to local HR Administrators as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years experience in comprehensive or operational HR roles.
- Well-versed in employment legislation, HR policies, and organizational procedures.
- Experience operating in globally structured or matrixed organizations.
- Familiarity with HR or Human Capital Management software platforms.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and sound judgment.
- Fluency in business English and relevant local languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR certification or related educational background.
- Experience managing HR operations across multiple countries or regions.
- Background in employee relations or collaboration with ER teams.
- Involvement in HR transformations or continuous process improvement initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
BSI provides a competitive compensation package, flexible working hours, international work environment, and continuous learning and development opportunities. The salary range is AED 181,500 to 242,000 or QAR 205,800 to 294,000 annually, determined by experience, skills, market standards, and internal equity.
