Role overview
The hotel is looking for a room attendant who takes pride in spotless presentation, notices the small details, and is committed to helping every guest enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay.
Key duties
- Prepare guest rooms to a high standard so they are ready for occupancy.
- Assist guests with everyday needs, such as replacing forgotten toiletries or guiding them around the property.
- Keep the supervisor informed about completed work, delays, or any issues that come up during the shift.
- Track and use housekeeping supplies carefully to reduce unnecessary waste.
- Support the return of lost or misplaced guest belongings whenever possible.
- Take part in scheduled deep-cleaning tasks when required.
Role requirements
- This is a physically active position, with most of the shift spent standing and moving around.
- Tasks may involve lifting items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms or pushing and pulling heavy objects.
- Bending and kneeling may be needed to complete cleaning tasks.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic ability is required.
- The schedule can include nights, weekends, and holidays, so flexibility is important.
