Role overview

This position involves hands-on manual work supporting construction and maintenance tasks at sites such as construction projects, residential complexes, and industrial facilities.

Core duties

• Move, lift, and transport materials, including blocks and bricks, with a maximum load of 50 pounds, and place them in the required work area indoors or outdoors.
• Support setting up hangars, square and spiral ducting, and operate a scissor lift when required.
• Work safely on uneven ground, climb ladders regularly, get on and off equipment, and carry out tasks at different heights.
• Use physical effort for holding, gripping, turning, and pulling activities as part of daily work.
• Assist plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and technicians with their assigned routine tasks.
• Follow safety procedures at all times and use the required personal protective equipment.
• Attend toolbox talks and comply with all site safety rules and regulations.

Efficiency and improvement

• Contribute to reducing waste and helping control costs.

Qualifications and experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and considered an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools is required.
• Physical strength is important for this role.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in the UAE or Gulf region is preferred.
