Head of Procurement, Data Centres

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the digital infrastructure sector, is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan and is seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement leader based in Singapore to drive this growth.

Responsibilities

This newly established position involves overseeing the entire procurement strategy and commercial management to guarantee timely and cost-efficient delivery of essential infrastructure projects while ensuring consistent supply and high quality. Key tasks include managing procurement of data centre equipment, electrical and mechanical components, GPUs, servers, networking hardware, construction services, energy resources, and indirect expenses. You will cultivate strategic relationships with suppliers and negotiate complex contracts with international OEMs, EPC contractors, and technology vendors. Collaborating closely with various internal teams, you will lead procurement governance, contract oversight, cost reduction initiatives, inventory control, and mitigate supply risks. Additionally, you will support rapid expansion plans across multiple regions and build a capable procurement team to sustain long-term organisational growth.

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in the data centre and/or technology industries. Proven expertise in developing and scaling procurement functions, analyzing and securing suppliers to deliver lasting commercial value is essential. Success in this role requires an agile, entrepreneurial mindset combined with hands-on operational capability.
