Role overview
Green Key Resources is looking for a Head of Operations in New York City to help build the operating backbone for a fast-scaling robotics and AI company. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys creating structure from the ground up rather than maintaining an existing system. The role offers a base salary plus equity.
Operating model and governance
- Shape and run the company’s operating model, including team structure, governance, planning routines, and performance management.
- Set the business rhythm with weekly, monthly, and quarterly review cycles.
- Convert strategic goals into clear action plans with defined owners, timelines, and measurable results.
- Align teams across functions on priorities, resource allocation, and key initiatives.
Delivery and execution
- Manage delivery for customer programs, making sure data initiatives and robotics deployments are executed successfully.
- Take ownership of operational results across quality, timing, and cost.
- Steer recovery actions for programs that are off track, address blockers, and reinforce accountability to execution plans.
- Work closely with customer-facing leaders so delivery commitments match customer expectations.
Team leadership
- Grow and structure the operations function, covering program management, deployment operations, and business operations.
- Coach and guide managers, building a strong bridge between executive direction and daily execution.
- Develop operational talent and put scalable team structures in place to support growth.
Performance and reporting
- Create KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that give timely visibility into business performance.
- Use operational data and consistent measurement to support smarter decisions.
- Prepare reporting for executives and the board covering performance, risks, and strategic priorities.
Compensation and work setup
This is an onsite position based in New York City. Compensation includes a base salary along with equity.
