About the Company
Our client is a leading maritime operator based in Abu Dhabi, providing essential offshore services to the global energy sector. They manage a sophisticated fleet and advanced remote-site technologies and are currently undergoing a significant digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Head of Operations & Service Delivery will oversee the stability, security, and efficient operation of all critical IT infrastructure. This senior leadership position requires managing both shore-based and offshore IT environments, integrating Infrastructure & Security with Service Delivery teams to ensure uninterrupted and scalable IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the stable and secure operation of core IT infrastructure.
- Manage seamless delivery of IT services across multiple environments including offshore sites.
- Integrate and guide Infrastructure & Security and Service Delivery divisions.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous operational improvement.
- Ensure resilience, scalability, and security of IT service operations.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10 to 12 years of progressive experience in IT operations with at least 5 to 7 years in senior leadership roles.
- Industry experience preferred in maritime, oil and gas, or offshore infrastructure sectors.
- Proficient understanding of remote operational technology (OT) and offshore environment IT support.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management, security principles, and oversight of outsourced partners such as SOCs.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITSM/ITIL); ITIL certification highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including budget management, vendor negotiations, and building cohesive teams.
