About the role
This position is for a seasoned HR leader to oversee HR operations and talent acquisition for India and Saudi Arabia. The job calls for a strong mix of hiring expertise, HR process leadership, labor law compliance, employee relations, and policy administration. The right candidate will have 15+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with a track record of handling cross-border HR functions, building teams, and enabling business expansion in fast-moving environments.
The role also requires close collaboration with attorneys and legal counsel for drafting HR policies, preparing employment contracts, handling disciplinary matters, building compliance frameworks, and maintaining labor-law-related documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
Talent acquisition and workforce planning
- Run the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Work with business leaders and hiring managers to understand manpower plans and hiring priorities.
- Build sourcing plans using job boards, referrals, social media, and recruitment networks.
- Lead hiring across India and Saudi Arabia for both high-volume and specialized roles.
- Ensure candidates have a smooth, professional, and positive experience throughout the process.
- Review recruitment performance metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
HR operations and employee lifecycle
- Manage the full employee journey, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Handle employee files, HR documentation, attendance, leave administration, and payroll coordination.
- Maintain HRIS platforms and protect the accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
- Support audits and keep HR records organized and ready for review.
- Improve HR processes to make operations more efficient and scalable.
Compliance and labor law
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and Saudi employment regulations, including Saudization, Iqama, GOSI, visa, and work permit requirements.
- Coordinate with PROs and external agencies for employee documentation, visas, and expatriate workforce needs.
- Partner with attorneys and legal teams on policy drafting, employment agreements, disciplinary actions, compliance topics, investigations, and labor-law documentation.
- Update HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and compliance frameworks across regions.
- Ensure alignment with internal policies, statutory rules, and corporate governance standards.
Compensation, benefits, and performance
- Manage salary structures, compensation changes, benchmarking, and benefits administration.
- Oversee expatriate pay structures, allowances, and per diem arrangements.
- Run performance review cycles, goal-setting processes, and feedback mechanisms.
- Support leadership on talent development, succession planning, and retention strategies.
Employee relations and engagement
- Act as the main HR contact for employee queries and support.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary cases, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Help build a positive and inclusive culture across locations.
- Drive engagement and retention initiatives.
HR reporting and analytics
- Create HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics for leadership.
- Use data to support HR and business decisions.
- Track key HR metrics and suggest process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in HR operations and talent acquisition.
- Strong exposure to HR functions in both India and Saudi Arabia.
- Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and Saudi employment regulations.
- Experience handling cross-border and expatriate workforces.
- Proven work with legal teams on policy drafting, compliance, contracts, and employee relations matters.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and recruitment tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and changing business settings.
