The right person will bring extensive experience in building and scaling teams, managing cross-border HR functions, and supporting growth in fast-moving business settings.

The role also calls for close collaboration with attorneys and legal advisors on policy drafting, employment agreements, disciplinary actions, compliance structures, and labor-law documentation across multiple jurisdictions.

Talent acquisition and workforce planning

  • Work with business leaders and hiring managers to forecast workforce needs and hiring priorities.
  • Create and run sourcing plans using job boards, employee referrals, social channels, and recruitment networks.
  • Lead hiring efforts in India and Saudi Arabia for both high-volume and specialized roles.
  • Protect a smooth and positive experience for candidates at every stage of the process.
  • Review recruitment performance using metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire, and quality of hire.

HR operations and employee lifecycle

  • Manage the complete employee journey, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Handle employee records, HR paperwork, attendance, leave administration, and coordination with payroll.
  • Maintain HRIS systems while ensuring data accuracy, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Support audits and keep HR files and documentation ready for review.
  • Improve HR processes to make them more efficient and scalable.

Compliance and labor law

  • Ensure alignment with Indian labor laws and Saudi labor rules, including Saudization, Iqama, GOSI, visa, and work-permit requirements.
  • Coordinate with PROs and external partners for employee documentation, visas, and expatriate workforce support.
  • Partner with attorneys and legal teams on policy drafting, employment contracts, disciplinary processes, investigations, and compliance documentation.
  • Update HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and region-specific compliance frameworks.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, statutory obligations, and corporate governance standards.

Compensation, benefits, and performance

  • Oversee salary structures, compensation revisions, benchmarking, and benefits administration.
  • Manage compensation elements for expatriates, including allowances and per diem arrangements.
  • Run performance appraisal cycles, goal-setting frameworks, and feedback processes.
  • Support leadership with succession planning, capability building, and retention efforts.

Employee relations and engagement

  • Act as the main HR contact for employee concerns and queries.
  • Address grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive workplace culture across locations.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention programs.

HR reporting and analytics

  • Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and leadership-facing analytics.
  • Translate HR data into insights that support business and people decisions.
  • Track important HR metrics and recommend improvements to processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in HR operations and talent acquisition.
  • Strong experience with HR operations in India and Saudi Arabia.
  • Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and Saudi labor regulations.
  • Exposure to cross-border workforce management and expatriate employee administration.
  • Proven background in working with legal teams on policy drafting, compliance, contracts, and employee relations matters.
  • Practical experience with HRIS platforms and recruitment tools.
