Overview

This senior marketing leadership role is based in Oxford, England, United Kingdom and follows a hybrid working setup. The package starts at GBP 90,000 plus additional benefits. Role summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will own the development and rollout of a customer experience strategy that supports growth and strengthens how the brand is perceived. You will collaborate with senior leaders to find and deliver improvements across the full customer journey, ensuring customer feedback remains central to decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and execute a company-wide customer experience strategy that supports broader business goals.
  • Work with the executive team to define and deliver programmes that increase customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Carry out market research and review customer insight data to spot trends, behaviours, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and integrate a smooth, customer-led experience across different parts of the organisation.
  • Lead initiatives that improve satisfaction, retention, and overall brand perception.
  • Guide senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in delivering customer-first improvements.
  • Apply customer data and performance measures to evaluate results and drive ongoing enhancement.
  • Promote a customer-centric mindset across the company.

Experience and requirements

  • You should bring senior-level experience in marketing, branding, or customer experience, with a track record of leading strategic transformation and influencing at executive level.
  • Experience within the automotive sector is required.
  • You need strong strategic thinking and the ability to turn business objectives into practical customer experience plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, networking, and influencing abilities are essential.
  • You should be highly capable in analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experience connecting customer experience strategy to commercial priorities is important.
  • A strong customer-first perspective is needed, including the ability to design journeys from the end user’s point of view.
  • You must be comfortable working with data and interested in technology and digital innovation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are required, along with confidence in working with board-level stakeholders.
