Overview
Envision yourself as a beacon of positivity, enhancing each guest's experience at a premier hotel. As a Groups, Meetings & Events Proactive Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in promoting and securing bookings for hotel rooms, event venues, and services by proactively engaging prospective clients. Your role extends beyond mere sales; you will represent the spirit of hospitality by creating outstanding guest experiences through your sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily proactive sales activities by aggressively targeting and converting new group, meeting, and event business opportunities using structured outreach via calls, visits, referrals, networking, and targeted campaigns.
- Maintain diligent administrative support including data entry, invoice handling, and comprehensive recordkeeping, as well as tracking Salesforce activities to streamline team operations.
- Identify and qualify new business leads by researching and evaluating prospective client accounts, ensuring a steady and healthy sales pipeline.
- Cultivate strong partnerships internally with Hilton Sales colleagues and externally with customers and hotel partners to uncover new sales opportunities, conduct exploratory discussions, and provide customized solutions.
- Contribute to departmental projects and events such as customer engagement initiatives, meetings, and conferences as required.
- Assist in preparing essential sales materials including contracts, proposals, requests for proposal (RFP) responses, client call summaries, and performance reports related to bookings and loyalty programs.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Possess a diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline.
- Have at least one year of prior experience in hotel sales, demonstrating familiarity with the hospitality industry's sales environment.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship building and client management.
- Understand sales strategies and revenue generation fundamentals.
- Demonstrate proficiency with hotel management and sales software such as Delphi, Salesforce, OnQ, and Market Planner Survey.
- Be self-driven, goal-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
