Position Overview
We invite applications for a seasoned Group HR Manager to lead comprehensive human resource functions across our organization based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This leadership role demands expertise in managing diverse workforces including riders, drivers, and corporate staff while ensuring full adherence to UAE labor laws. The successful candidate will oversee HR operations, workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, performance management, payroll coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to align HR practices with business objectives.
Core Accountabilities
- Lead the HR department, managing daily activities and supervising coordinators and support personnel by assigning duties and evaluating performance.
- Establish department priorities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service standards to streamline HR functions.
- Take responsibility for the entire HR lifecycle of bike riders, car drivers, and office employees, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, documentation, visa and labor paperwork, medical insurance, leave, attendance, disciplinary matters, and exit formalities.
- Coordinate payroll processes including inputs for overtime, incentives, allowances, deductions, and attendance; validate payroll accuracy and address discrepancies swiftly.
- Monitor performance management cycles, provide coaching for managers, generate workforce and performance reports, and foster employee engagement while effectively handling grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Manage accommodation allocations and transport logistics for operational staff to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed HR reports and analytics using advanced tools such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; analyze workforce trends and manpower needs for senior leadership.
- Drive process improvements, standardize HR procedures, enhance employee experience, and support digital transformation efforts within HR operations.
Compliance and Legal Oversight
- Ensure strict compliance with UAE Labor Law and MOHRE regulations, including supervision of WPS adherence, MOHRE inspections, audits, and investigations.
- Maintain comprehensive and legally compliant HR documentation and policy frameworks aligned with local legislation.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership with the ability to supervise multiple HR teams and maintain discipline alongside positive employee relations.
- Excellent stakeholder and operational management capabilities, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of workforce optimization, resource planning, and process orientation with high attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in HRMS, attendance management systems, payroll coordination, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
Educational and Professional Background
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or PHR highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 8 to 12 years progressing through HR roles, including 3 to 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Experience managing large operational workforces, preferably in logistics, transportation, delivery services, or facilities management.
