Grade IV Night Duty Admissions

Position Overview

The National Maternity Hospital is seeking a Grade IV professional for night duty admissions on a part-time basis. This role requires working exclusively during night shifts, totaling 70 hours within a four-week cycle, including weekends and public holidays such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter, excluding unpaid rest periods.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Candidates must have successfully completed an examination equivalent to or higher than Leaving Certificate standard within the QQI framework, for example, FETAC Level 5.
• Previous experience is required in an administrative role, ideally with customer or patient service exposure.
• Strong teamwork orientation, proficient typing abilities, and sound organizational and time management skills are essential.
• The role demands the capability to take initiative independently when necessary.
• Full understanding and adherence to hospital policies and procedures relevant to patient care must be demonstrated.
• Individuals must exhibit compassion and empathy consistently throughout their employment within the hospital environment.
