Role overview
In this position, you will support premium kitchen and lounge operations by delivering a polished, efficient, and service-focused experience for passengers. The role calls for someone who can maintain high standards at all times while representing the brand in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
Operational duties
- Handle day-to-day kitchen tasks in line with standard operating procedures, including buffet setup and preparation of kitchen areas.
- Build solid knowledge of all menu items so guests can be informed accurately about the food being served.
- Support and guide Second Commis Chefs during shifts when required.
- Share daily updates and operational matters with the Chef de Partie.
- Assist in preparing menu items and contribute to buffet presentation.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to help maintain a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Keep the kitchen area presentable by flagging any damaged equipment, furniture, or other items.
- Help prepare selected food items when instructed by the Demi Chef de Partie.
- Apply FIFO stock rotation so older inventory is used first and freshness is maintained.
- Carry out other duties linked to the role as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualification
A high school qualification is required, along with at least one year of job-related experience. English communication ability at an entry level is needed, and you should be able to encourage collaboration within a team.
