About the Role
The position requires a candidate with substantial knowledge and practical experience in food industry operations and supply chain procedures within Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring food safety and operational compliance across multiple restaurant outlets under the company umbrella.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine audits of inventory and cash operations across all restaurant locations to verify adherence to corporate policies and industry regulations.
- Evaluate inventory management practices including controls, stock rotation following FIFO principles, and waste management systems.
- Verify accuracy of point-of-sale system entries, billing statements, discount applications, and transaction voids.
- Examine and analyze food and beverage cost percentages and quantify variances against established standards.
- Scrutinize purchasing and procurement procedures to ensure transparency and adherence to compliance standards.
- Monitor stock quantities, document wastage and spoilage, and implement pilferage prevention strategies.
- Conduct audits to confirm that food safety regulations are consistently upheld across all restaurant operations in line with relevant regulatory obligations.
- Offer remedial training to staff members on compliance, safety protocols, and operational practices when necessary.
