Role Overview
Based at our Eastern Creek site, this key position involves managing the daily logistics, overseeing maintenance, physical security, and facility presentation through various administrative and scheduling duties. Working with the facilities team and operations, the role ensures exceptional customer service and uninterrupted facility functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved workplans and maintain building standards.
- Coordinate and liaise with contracted personnel to guarantee efficient completion of tasks across multiple facility domains including structural, plumbing, and routine maintenance.
- Uphold emergency protocols and health and safety regulations in line with CDC policies.
- Manage logistics within the facility, collaborating with operations to enforce security measures and standards.
- Perform inspections to identify repair or renovation needs for structures such as lifts, pressure vessels, fire systems, stormwater, and plumbing, and coordinate authorized access for clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Promote safe work practices, maintain high presentation standards, and represent CDC professionally on site.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in facilities, property, or building operations including managing base building services and maintenance (planned and reactive).
- Knowledge of Defects Liability Period (DLP) management and building compliance/safety obligations is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities in scheduling and contractor coordination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and aptitude for quickly adapting to internal technology systems.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively.
- Confidence in property/facilities/security management practices.
- Australian Citizenship with capability to obtain and sustain NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory.
