About the Role
Join the Singapore Swimming Club as a Procurement Executive, playing a key role in sourcing, vendor management, purchase order processing, and logistics coordination. Your efforts will be pivotal in ensuring timely and cost-efficient procurement of goods and services, aligning with the Club's policies and objectives for smooth operations and lasting success.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase essential items offering the best value in price and quality, adhering strictly to the Club’s procurement procedures.
- Manage the processing and issuance of purchase orders for both food and non-food products.
- Support daily receiving operations of materials and supplies.
- Negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable deals.
- Ensure accuracy of Purchase Requisitions, monitor approval workflows, and facilitate PO closure.
- Track daily purchase orders and confirm all deliveries are completed as scheduled.
- Create vendor profiles and maintain item records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, culinary teams, and respective business units to address delivery and operational matters.
- Organize urgent procurement when unexpected events or increased reservations occur.
- Monitor and update open purchase orders, compile reports, and maintain proper filing systems.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned periodically.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of procurement experience, ideally within hospitality, clubs, food and beverage, or service-oriented sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing tenders, negotiating contracts, and overseeing vendor compliance.
- Proficiency with procurement software such as Tender Board, Sesami, NorthStar, or equivalent ERP systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of stock control, inventory audits, and related procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to liaise across departments.
- Highly organized, proactive, able to juggle multiple urgent tasks effectively.
- Positive attitude with the capability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
