Role Purpose

The Grade V Executive Assistant offers extensive administrative and secretarial assistance, playing a key part in the smooth functioning of the Chief Operations Officer's office.

This position demands superior organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to maintain discretion and professionalism at all times.

The incumbent will manage diary coordination, organize meetings, handle documentation, and oversee correspondence to ensure an efficient schedule for the Chief Operations Officer.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least one year of recent experience in healthcare, public sector, or a similarly regulated environment in a senior administrative capacity.
  • OR at least one year of current experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting a senior executive or board member.

  • A relevant third-level qualification equivalent to at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework from QQI in administration, business, or related areas.
  • Familiarity with Irish health service administrative procedures (such as HSE or Department of Health).
