Description de l'emploi
About the Role
The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) position at Mojay Global Holding Limited demands a skilled founder with robust technical expertise and sharp commercial insight. This role focuses on establishing venture-scale enterprises within Physical AI as opposed to managing well-established businesses.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prior experience as a founder, co-founder, or senior leader in a technology startup is essential.
- Proven background in robotics spanning industrial, service, autonomous, or mobile robotics domains.
- Advanced knowledge in computer vision covering perception systems, object detection, tracking, inspection, navigation, or other visual AI implementations.
- Hands-on application of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to tangible physical systems.
- Track record of transforming concepts into commercial products effectively.
- Expertise in customer discovery processes and validating product-market fit.
- Capability to recruit, guide, and inspire high-performing technical teams.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional hardware and software engineering groups.
- Solid business judgment with an entrepreneurial, venture building mindset.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Physical AI technologies and autonomous system development.
- Knowledge of Edge AI, sensor fusion, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), robotics simulation, and digital twins.
- Experience with industrial automation, manufacturing technologies, warehouse automation, or drone and aerial robotics.
- Background in medical robotics and human-robot interaction.
- Experience in venture capital, venture studio environments, or deep-tech startups, including Seed or Series A fundraising rounds.
Personal Qualities
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong execution focus.
- Comfortable navigating uncertain environments and making evidence-based decisions.
- Resourceful with efficient use of capital.
- Strong systems thinker blending engineering, research, and commercial considerations.
- Committed to long-term ownership and value creation.
Compensation and Equity Structure
The EIR role emphasizes creating long-term shareholder value with compensation primarily consisting of equity ownership linked to successful ventures. While no fixed salary is offered, the company may provide a modest monthly stipend and cover approved business expenses during the initial incubation phase.
- For each approved and funded venture, the EIR may earn up to 20% founder equity, subject to standard four-year vesting with a one-year cliff and ongoing monthly vesting thereafter, contingent on active participation and subject to dilution from future fundraising.
- Equity allocation depends on opportunity quality, contributions, capital invested, venture stage, and involvement of other founders or executives.
- Additional equity awards can be granted for significant accomplishments such as validated customers, MVP delivery, initial commercial sales, strategic partnerships, external financing, and substantial enterprise value growth.
- Profit participation occurs through equity upon liquidity events like acquisitions, IPOs, or other approved exits.
- All equity is governed by agreements covering leaver provisions, intellectual property assignments, confidentiality, restrictive covenants, and company equity incentive policies to align the EIR’s rewards closely with shareholder value cultivation.
