Ecommerce Specialist

Position Summary

We seek a proficient Ecommerce Specialist to manage several Shopify websites serving Ireland, the UK, and European markets. This role emphasizes hands-on management and optimisation of Shopify platforms to enhance commercial performance and deliver a superior customer experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of multiple Shopify websites across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
• Handle maintenance of product catalogues, collections, and all website content.
• Coordinate product launches, promotional campaigns, and merchandising updates.
• Ensure accuracy of product details, pricing, and content across all sites.
• Manage localization efforts including translations and regional updates for diverse markets.
• Administer email marketing initiatives and customer communications.
• Supervise management of customer reviews and related website content.
• Collaborate with external digital agencies to support and improve website performance.
• Track and analyze website metrics to identify and implement continuous improvements.
• Assist in planning and executing marketplace expansions, such as launching on Amazon.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated hands-on Shopify platform experience in a commercial setting.
• Proven background in day-to-day ecommerce website management.
• Strong expertise in catalogue and product management.
• Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Commercially driven with enthusiasm for ecommerce growth.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Additional Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
• Experience managing multiple Shopify stores or regional websites.
• Previous involvement with marketplaces like Amazon.
• Background in retail, consumer goods, or ecommerce industries.
• Knowledge of merchandising, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and customer journey enhancements.
