The company offers a diverse portfolio including microscope systems for clinical diagnostics, research, industrial applications, videoscopes, and instruments for non-destructive testing and X-ray fluorescence analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand and strengthen Evident's digital pathology customer network within the EMEA region to meet growth objectives.
- Collaborate effectively across a matrix organization with team members to align efforts.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans aiming to increase market share for digital pathology solutions.
- Evaluate customer interest and requirements by identifying key decision makers and assessing technical, operational, and financial factors.
- Promote Evident’s digital pathology product range to potential clients via presentations and demonstrations, emphasizing the benefits of digital workflow adoption and solution value.
- Meet and surpass sales targets by developing a strong pipeline and converting prospects into customers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their pathology workflows and providing tailored digital pathology solutions.
- Work closely with specialist teams and partners to conduct product demos, integrate workflows, test AI applications, present return on investment, and manage implementation, training, and support, including tender processes.
- Respond to customer queries, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Keep up to date on industry advancements, competitor products, and emerging digital pathology technologies.
- Attend relevant conferences and engage with thought leaders and key opinion leaders, coordinating demos, site visits, installations, and trainings as required.
- Partner with customer care, technical support, and service teams to ensure smooth post-sale delivery and ongoing assistance.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer communications, and opportunities in the Salesforce system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the regional sales manager and actively participate in sales meetings.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, preferably within digital pathology, medical devices, healthcare IT software, or life sciences sectors.
- Strong leadership capabilities and business insight, with a clear understanding of digital pathology systems and their software applications in clinical and research environments.
- Demonstrated success in consultative sales with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient presentation skills with the ability to engage and persuade groups effectively.
- Expertise in negotiation, contract management, and problem-solving.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in histopathology or related fields.
- Background in digital pathology industry sales.
- Knowledge of medical devices or in vitro diagnostic (IVD) regulated product sales.
- Experience selling to clinical laboratories or healthcare IT markets.
- Technical or IT sales experience.
- Familiarity with strategic selling or managing large accounts.
