About Intas Foundation and Role Overview
Intas Foundation, the corporate social responsibility branch of Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd., is dedicated to impactful social initiatives that support underserved communities across India. Their key projects like Apna Ghar, Blood for Life, and Patient Assistance Programs have positively affected more than 6.9 million individuals across 31 States and Union Territories. The foundation operates through committed regional and state teams that strategize, implement, and scale impactful interventions. They are seeking compassionate professionals to provide critical mental health support for cancer patients and those with chronic illnesses along with their families.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate both individual and group psychotherapy sessions to address psychological issues related to medical conditions.
- Provide socio-economic counseling and increase awareness about health and social security schemes.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with hospitals, clinicians, and service providers to support patient access to healthcare and treatment navigation.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with healthcare institutions for coordinated patient services.
- Empower patients and caregivers with education and skills necessary for their care journey.
Skills and Knowledge Expected
- Proficiency in counseling techniques and mental health support.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience interacting with multidisciplinary teams.
- Meticulous in maintaining reports and administrative records.
- Competent in documentation and client data reporting.
- Fluency in English and local language required.
Educational and Experience Requirements
Candidates should possess a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology. Experience in public health and in preparing reports is advantageous. Freshers or those with up to 1 year experience are welcome to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
Remuneration will be aligned with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include group life insurance, accidental insurance, medical coverage, travel reimbursements, and paid leaves as per company policy. The role involves approximately 20% travel, both within and beyond the state.
