Convenience Site Attendant

Position Summary

This role is based at a convenience site and focuses on general labor and upkeep tasks that keep the location safe, orderly, and functional. The attendant helps maintain the grounds, supports disposal activity, and assists customers and traffic flow as needed.

Key Duties

• Carry out assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Keep work areas tidy and guide visitors to the correct disposal container.
• Remove material from tracks after compactors are moved away.
• Handle yard maintenance work such as picking up paper and blowing debris.
• Direct vehicle and customer traffic on site when required.
• Provide assistance to customers when needed.
• Observe staged containers and initiate service calls when necessary.
• Record monthly service activity such as haul counts and container numbers.
• Support and promote company safety practices.
• Complete other related tasks as assigned or as the situation requires.

Qualifications

The person in this role should be able to stay on schedule and work through issues as they come up.

Minimum Requirement

A valid driver’s license is required.
