Role overview
This position is for a customer service professional who will handle first-level enquiries quickly and accurately in a busy environment. As an initial point of contact, you will play an important part in delivering a customer-focused experience, responding with patience, resolving issues effectively, and aiming to exceed expectations whenever possible.
Key duties
- Handle queries and feedback received through the Motor Customer Inbox and hotline, including policy servicing, claims-related questions, and administrative matters.
- Take ownership of incident case management by working on escalated issues from different business units or teams and routing unresolved matters to the right support functions.
- Support document administration and maintain follow-up communication with customers regarding feedback.
- Offer practical guidance to help customers complete transactions efficiently and within the required timeframes.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by management as needed.
Qualifications and aptitude
- A diploma or degree in any field is required, along with at least 2 years of customer service experience in a comparable environment.
- Experience in motor insurance will be an advantage.
- The role requires the ability to work from home in Singapore.
- You should be open to cross-deployment training when required.
- Strong customer service orientation and sound problem-solving ability are important.
- A positive mindset, attention to detail, and self-motivation are expected.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is needed.
- Selected candidates must obtain the relevant insurance certifications: BCP, PGI, and ComGI.
