About the Role
Brightwater Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent global insurance brokerage expanding its footprint in Ireland. This company, known for its strong market reputation and appealing benefits, is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to manage a portfolio of commercial clients from their Longford office. The role offers the potential for hybrid working arrangements within an esteemed organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture enduring, strategic relationships with key commercial clients to serve as a reliable advisor on insurance and risk management matters.
- Oversee the complete renewal lifecycle for complex commercial insurance risks — initiating market engagements, structuring placements, negotiating terms, and delivering optimal client results.
- Utilize established insurer connections to obtain competitive insurance terms while monitoring market trends, pricing, and emerging insurance products.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal company procedures, maintain meticulous documentation, and guarantee readiness for audits.
- Serve as a key contact within the team by mentoring junior staff, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team development activities.
- Provide insightful feedback to leadership regarding market dynamics, product innovation, and service enhancements aimed at improving client outcomes and operational processes.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage or underwriting, with proven ability to manage intricate client portfolios.
- Possession of a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) qualification is mandatory.
- Sound technical expertise across diverse commercial insurance products, alongside familiarity with the Irish insurance market, is advantageous.
- Proven capability to interact strategically and advisorially with clients at all levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management competencies.
- Possession of a full, clean driving license.
