Job Location and Contract Details
This position is based in Doha, Qatar, requiring onsite presence. The contract is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension. Candidates residing outside Qatar are welcome to apply; visa and medical insurance will be provided, although relocation expenses are the applicant's responsibility.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform a thorough evaluation of the organization's existing data culture and literacy skills, utilizing the SFIA framework to align the skills assessment.
- Create a comprehensive roadmap and framework to foster a data-centric mindset and enhance data culture and literacy throughout the company.
- Develop and implement targeted communication and awareness initiatives that cater to various organizational roles, including Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Business Analysts.
- Formulate a strategy for integrating data capabilities into the organization, coordinating with Human Resources and the Training Quality Center (TQC) to synchronize upskilling efforts.
- Establish measurable KPIs for data culture and literacy, and set up governance mechanisms to monitor program adoption and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years’ professional experience in Learning & Development, Training, Change Management, or Capability Building.
- Solid expertise in Data Analytics, Data Strategy, Data Governance, or Business Intelligence fields.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering data literacy and culture training programs.
- Experience with conducting skills assessments and creating competency frameworks; familiarity with SFIA is advantageous.
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
- Skill in developing role-specific learning pathways for various data-centric roles within the business.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation capabilities.
- Experience in supporting organizational change and initiatives aimed at data-driven transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
- Certifications like Microsoft Data Analyst (Power BI), CDMP, CAP, Prosci, or SFIA are desirable.
- Experience in the Power & Utilities industry and/or working within the MENA region is highly preferred.
