Role Summary
We are seeking a full-time Car Sales Executive to join our team on-site in Ballybofey. The primary responsibilities include welcoming customers in the showroom, assessing their vehicle needs, and guiding them through the entire purchase process.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and assist customers visiting the showroom by understanding their needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits clearly to potential buyers.
- Organize and conduct test drives ensuring safety and professional standards.
- Prepare accurate sales quotations and negotiate terms that align with company policies.
- Handle finance and sales documentation thoroughly and maintain precise records in dealership systems.
- Follow up on leads and maintain contact with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate effectively with finance, administration, and service departments to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the capacity to communicate effectively across diverse customer groups.
- Sales capabilities including prospecting, negotiation, and closing, preferably developed in automotive or retail sectors.
- Basic understanding of vehicles and eagerness to learn about specifications and financing to provide informed advice.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to paperwork and customer records.
- Comfortable using computers and dealership software for managing data and communication.
- Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously while being a positive team member.
- Prior experience in car sales or sales roles advantageous but not compulsory.
- Possession of a valid driving license and competence in conducting test drives safely.
