Role overview
Aequilibrium is hiring a highly analytical Business / Systems Analyst for a major digital banking modernization program. The position is focused on connecting technical implementation with day-to-day operations so the new platform fits business needs and provides credit union staff and members with a smooth transition.
Key responsibilities
- Examine functional and technical requirements and confirm they support the organization’s business goals.
- Perform detailed operational impact analysis to uncover differences between current-state workflows in Forge 2.0 and the intended future-state processes.
- Check member journey flows, user interface and experience settings, and custom branding requirements.
- Support readiness activities for branches, the contact centre, and operations teams, including preparing updates to internal policies and procedures.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and developers as part of Agile delivery teams.
Required background
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst on software development initiatives. You should be comfortable analyzing complex workflows and business rules, leading workshops, supporting business validation testing, and coordinating cutover preparation. Strong written and verbal communication, along with solid documentation skills, are also important.
Preferred experience
- Strong domain knowledge in business analysis for financial services, retail banking, or credit union environments.
- Understanding of digital banking member journeys and service experiences.
- Experience contributing to large modernization or enterprise transformation programs.
