Data Quality Analyst

Role overview

This is a contract remote position focused on reviewing documents and data for quality, completeness, and compliance. The work centers on handling both structured and unstructured information carefully, with special attention to privacy-sensitive content.

Compensation is $63 to $119 per hour, and the expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week.

Key responsibilities

• Go through high volumes of structured and unstructured data to check that information is accurate and complete.
• Spot data-quality concerns and any risks connected to personally identifiable information (PII).
• Tag, sort, and remove or obscure sensitive information to support privacy and compliance requirements.
• Work within established procedures and instructions for classification and validation.
• Carry out quality checks to confirm data integrity and make sure outputs are correct.
• Keep clear, detailed records of the documents reviewed and the actions taken for auditability.
• Coordinate with the client team and communicate findings, issues, and suggestions clearly.

Requirements

• Background in document review, auditing, annotation, redaction, or large-scale data classification.
• Very strong attention to detail and the ability to stay accurate in repetitive work.
• Understanding of how to manage and safeguard personally identifiable information (PII).
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for reporting and coordination.
• Ability to work carefully within complex rules and predefined taxonomies.
• Experience with QA or validation tasks on large datasets.
