About the Role

The Business Development Representative is tasked with driving sales and growth initiatives within the designated region of ABS Quality Evaluations Inc. This position serves as a stepping stone for individuals aiming to advance into more senior roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell ABS QE services leveraging the local affiliate business framework.
  • Identify and maintain targeted lists of prospective clients to focus sales efforts regionally.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to meet defined targets in the area.
  • Provide sales forecast data along with market and customer insights to assist sales planning.
  • Manage expenses within set budgets and adhere to company sales policies.
  • Create client proposals in accordance with ABS QE procedures and pricing guidelines.
  • Proactively follow up on proposals and deliver presentations to clients as needed.
  • Support operational teams to ensure customers receive appropriate service levels.
  • Assist with collections processes when required.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Director of Business Development or Country Manager regarding opportunities and challenges.
  • Engage in special projects and collaborative teams to advance business development objectives.
  • Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets consistently.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution, or relevant business/quality-related experience.
  • Preferably 5 or more years of industry experience.
