Business Development Representative

Overview

The Business Development Representative is tasked with driving sales growth for ABS Quality Evaluations Inc. within the assigned geographic area. This position provides a pathway to more advanced roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell ABS QE services leveraging the local affiliate's business framework.
• Identify and maintain lists of potential client accounts to target within the region.
• Create and implement a sales strategy that meets or surpasses established regional sales goals.
• Contribute sales forecasting and market intelligence to assist in sales planning.
• Operate within allocated budgets and comply with company sales policies.
• Prepare client proposals following ABS QE policies and pricing standards.
• Follow up on proposals with prospects and present to clients as needed.
• Provide operational support to ensure customer service excellence.
• Assist with client collections when required.
• Maintain regular communication with the Director of Business Development or Country Manager regarding sales opportunities, challenges, and business updates.
• Engage in special projects or teams to enhance overall business growth.
• Achieve or exceed designated sales targets.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in business or quality-related fields.
• Preferably five or more years of relevant industry experience.

• Experience in manufacturing or technical service sectors is advantageous.
• Self-driven with proven leadership in sales.
• Energetic and dedicated to achieving success in business development activities.
• Proficient with computers for presentations and communication, comfortable navigating ABS QE's operational platforms.
• Familiar with management systems or capable of quick adaptation to new domains.
• Culturally sensitive and able to interact effectively in diverse environments.
• Excellent communication skills with both customers and internal sales teams.
• Outcome-oriented with resilience in overcoming challenges to meet objectives.
• Ability to learn ABS rules, statutory regulations, and company policies including Employee Safety Policy.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Director of Business Development or Country Manager of ABS Quality Evaluations Inc.
