Description de l'emploi
Overview
ProService Hawaii is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to expand the small business clientele throughout Oahu. The position involves managing the entire sales process independently—from initial prospecting and discovery calls through to closing deals—offering HR, payroll, and benefits services to local enterprises requiring a dependable partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue increases by conducting discovery sessions, managing the entire sales funnel, and independently closing new clients.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline through a combination of cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and networking events around Oahu.
- Formulate and execute targeted outreach strategies directed at local businesses across diverse industries.
- Present ProService's value proposition confidently to decision-makers and business owners.
- Attend networking and prospecting activities, including some outside regular business hours.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to foster a winning culture and celebrate shared successes.
Candidate Profile
- Proven B2B sales experience with a successful track record of closing sales and managing a complete sales cycle.
- Strong listening skills to ask insightful questions, understand client needs deeply, and customize sales approaches accordingly.
- Ambitious self-goal setting with meticulous pipeline tracking and quota-oriented performance.
- Enthusiasm for engaging with the Hawai'i local market, understanding the importance of trust-building and committed to persistent relationship development.
- Competitive yet cooperative nature, valuing both personal success and team achievement.
Role Expectations
This role entails quota responsibility with measurable goals: independently handling discovery meetings within the first year, major pipeline development by mid-year, and attainment of annual targets. The position emphasizes active community involvement and relationship building, requiring consistent outreach efforts. It is unsuitable for candidates preferring inbound or inside sales roles.
Work Arrangement
Applicants based in Hawai'i are encouraged to apply. The role involves a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday and optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays while conducting field prospecting on other days.
Compensation
Annual base salary is $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role also provides an uncapped performance-based commission, with potential earnings of $60,000 upon meeting quota.
