About the Role
As a Business Development Executive at Gartner, you will significantly contribute to expanding our market footprint globally. Your focus will be on engaging new clients by establishing trustful relationships with C-level executives, understanding their core business priorities, and identifying opportunities to add value through insights tailored to their respective industries. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients from start to finish, overseeing the entire sales process and subsequently handing over clients to the account management team for sustained success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business prospects within your assigned territory, targeting Large Enterprise organizations, from first contact through closing deals.
- Convert potential clients into Gartner customers by managing the complete sales dialogue, negotiations, and transition to account management.
- Provide tailored insights, strategic guidance, and useful tools that enhance client partnerships.
- Consistently generate a pipeline of quality opportunities aligned with sales objectives and ensure achievement of KPIs.
- Maintain responsibility for meeting sales quotas within your territory.
- Handle complex sales transactions involving significant revenue streams across varied, matrixed organizational structures.
- Conduct regular forecasting and strategic account planning on monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales, preferably in complex and intangible product or service environments.
- Experience in business development or acquiring new clients is highly favored.
- Proven ability to engage and influence C-level executives effectively.
- Established success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Competent in handling and forecasting comprehensive sales processes.
- Willingness to travel for business needs.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesian at a professional level, required for the assigned territory.
