About the Role
Join a top pharmaceutical company in the Makkah Region focused on the vaccines and biological products market as a Business Development Associate. This role targets strategic leadership by identifying growth opportunities, managing partnerships, and supporting new product launches within Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and rank existing and potential collaborators such as biotech firms, pharmaceutical companies, contract manufacturing organizations, and governmental bodies.
- Lead partnership structures including manufacturing agreements, distribution arrangements, and technology transfers.
- Manage the full lifecycle of partnerships from initial opportunity recognition to ongoing performance evaluation.
- Anticipate and mitigate scientific, regulatory, operational, and reputational risks linked to partnerships.
- Build and sustain enduring relationships with primary contacts in partner organizations.
- Create and keep updated a comprehensive Business Growth Plan aligning with company strategy.
- Work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance units to assess and implement new business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional background.
- 5 to 7 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience working within Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to details.
