Role Overview
North Western Toyota is seeking an organised, proactive Accounts Officer for a fixed-term contract through until January 29, 2027. This opportunity is based in Palmerston North within the Business Support Team, operating weekdays from 8:30am to 5pm. The role involves strong communication and multitasking abilities to support multiple branches including Feilding, Levin, Whanganui, and Masterton.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain new customer accounts, including conducting credit and referee verifications.
- Process accounts payable invoices with accurate data entry and appropriate coding.
- Maintain electronic filing systems for supplier invoices.
- Ensure all invoicing is finalised by month-end.
- Respond to creditor inquiries and reconcile creditor statements.
- Organise electronic payments for invoices by the 20th of each month.
- Provide coverage and support for other Business Support Team members as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in accurate data entry and managing a large volume of transactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Relevant prior experience in accounts payable/receivable preferred; comprehensive training on company systems will be provided.
