Overview
Innocean Worldwide UK Ltd., located in Central London, is seeking a diligent and proactive Accounts & Finance Assistant to join their Finance team. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in various finance functions within an internationally recognized and culturally diverse organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase and sales invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders daily to ensure proper processing.
- Handle queries from suppliers and customers professionally and promptly.
- Record and reconcile daily bank transactions efficiently.
- Support monthly supplier payment runs and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Oversee new supplier onboarding documents and maintain supplier records.
- Verify supplier bank account details via telephone when necessary.
- Prepare documentation necessary for internal approvals.
- Gather company card receipts, compile supporting documents, and upload transactions to the accounting system.
- Assist with financial administration and reporting for projects.
- Support implementation and maintenance of project management systems.
- Provide additional financial, reporting, and administrative assistance as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in roles such as Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Well-developed organizational skills able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and a proactive working style.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict monthly deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
