Academy Coach (Part Time)

Role overview

Burnley Football Club is hiring a part-time Academy Coach to contribute to the continued growth of the club and to help provide an outstanding experience for players, staff and supporters.

About you

This opportunity suits someone with a strong passion for football who is ready for a new challenge in the sport. The club is looking for a candidate with previous experience in a professional football academy and all required qualifications already in place. A flexible attitude is essential, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Prepare demanding, well-structured coaching sessions for players from Under 9 through Under 16 age groups.
• Apply and model the academy’s coaching philosophy during match and game-related activities.
• Use player performance reviews to support and align with each individual’s learning plan and learning objectives.

Applicants are asked to complete the club’s application form and upload a short cover letter or CV setting out how they meet the role criteria, together with their education and employment history. Any gaps in employment or education should be explained.

Checks and conditions

Anyone who is successful will need to pass a social media check and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check (DBS). The DBS check will be funded by the employer.
