This internship is designed for someone who wants practical exposure to vendor development, supplier sourcing, and procurement in the EV and automotive space. The role centers on building supplier connections, identifying new vendors, negotiating commercial terms, and helping keep procurement costs under control.
What You’ll Do
- Find and evaluate vendors who can supply the components and services needed for EV and automotive products.
- Work with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, better terms, and reliable quality.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and shape sourcing approaches.
- Maintain supplier relationships and review their performance for delivery timelines and quality expectations.
- Study market movements and pricing patterns to spot savings opportunities and support ongoing improvement.
- Help create and refine procurement policies and procedures to make buying workflows smoother.
- Assist the procurement team with day-to-day tasks and project-based work to build a broader understanding of supply chain operations.
