Job Overview

The Warehouse Specialist represents GO-GENIE’s standards across its partnered warehouses. This role ensures partner sites meet performance SLAs, improves underperforming sites, implements new warehouse operations or redesigns as needed, and evaluates potential partners during expansion. This position operates through influence and expertise rather than direct management of warehouse staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage SLA adherence of warehouse and fulfilment partners, beginning with IPS.
• Conduct structured performance reviews using platform data on a regular schedule.
• Lead root cause analyses for service disruptions such as missing items or SLA breaches.
• Act as escalation contact between clients, the GO-GENIE Control Tower, and partner operations to resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor and report on ecosystem operational health, alerting leadership before issues escalate to complaints.
• Design and set up new warehouse workflows including process flows, slotting, manpower plans, and platform integrations.
• Revamp underperforming partner sites to meet GO-GENIE’s standards.
• Lead operational aspects of client and partner transitions, ensuring smooth migration and preventing lost inventory or team silos.
• Source and assess potential warehouse and fulfilment partners in Singapore and the region to support expansion.
• Conduct site evaluations to determine partner capability for operational standards and platform compatibility.
• Provide operational support during commercial negotiations (commercial terms handled by founders).

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 8 years experience in Singapore warehouse operations, including at least 2 years as a supervisor or manager accountable for entire sites and teams.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English languages.
• Proven track record leading at least one warehouse setup from scratch or managing a major site transition hands-on.
• Experienced with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and skilled at aligning system data with physical operations.
• Knowledgeable in floor staff management including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance oversight.
• Background in 3PL, contract logistics, or e-commerce fulfilment preferred, with multi-client operations being advantageous.
• Clear and direct communication style focused on performance accountability.
• Innovative and process-oriented mindset comfortable creating procedures from the ground up.
• Adaptable and proactive approach suited to dynamic, ambiguous startup environments with hands-on operational involvement.

This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore. GO-GENIE does not operate its own warehouses but collaborates with partner-managed facilities.
