Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Upwork Bidder and Business Development Executive to expand our graphic design services business. This position demands excellent communication capabilities, with a focus on cultivating leads via Upwork and direct outreach methods such as cold calling.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and submit proposals for projects in Graphic Design, Branding, UI/UX, Social Media, and Video Editing on Upwork.
- Create personalized and compelling proposals to enhance conversion rates.
- Engage professionally with clients, managing ongoing communication and following up on leads.
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients to discuss potential projects.
- Keep comprehensive records of leads, proposals, and client interactions.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure clear understanding of project prerequisites.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in bidding on Upwork and sourcing leads.
- Strong command of English communication, both verbal and written.
- Confidence in executing cold calls and managing client relationships.
- Fundamental knowledge of graphic design services.
- Self-driven, focused on achieving targets, and excellent organizational skills.
- Negotiation skills and ability to successfully close deals are advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Upwork proposal drafting.
- Lead generation techniques.
- Proficiency in cold calling.
- Client interaction and communication skills.
- Sales and negotiation capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
Additional Information
The position offers flexibility, allowing for full-time or part-time engagement, and can be performed remotely or onsite as required. Candidates with a minimum of two years' experience in Upwork bidding or business development are preferred.
