About the Role
Google is committed to revolutionizing learning and research through artificial intelligence. Our Gemini model series marks a significant milestone, providing unique opportunities to support students, educators, and researchers globally. Within the Education Unit's Global Impact team, we create training and community programs that have reached over 140 million users, utilizing tools like Gemini, Google Workspace for Education, and Chromebooks. We are seeking a program manager to lead the development of training materials for students during this transformative period.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement new training programs focused on educational content tailored for K-12 and higher education student audiences.
- Develop and enhance train-the-trainer materials and curricula to equip teachers with effective student-facing training tools.
- Conduct research on student learning preferences, technology access, and topical interests to shape content format, gamification strategies, platform choice, and subject matter focus.
- Collaborate with trusted curriculum partners and interdisciplinary teams to produce high-quality educational resources that promote academic achievement and career preparedness, identifying scalable training methods.
- Manage and sustain student certification processes within the learning platform.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's degree or comparable practical experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in program or project management.
- At least 3 years dedicated to handling content program management, instructional design, certification design, or curriculum development, emphasizing training or education content.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance educational delivery.
Preferred:
- Certification in program management or relevant experience working within technology companies.
- 3 years managing projects across teams or functions.
- Competence in stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to create student-targeted training content, interactive curricula, or video-based educational materials.
- Experience conducting research, performing data analysis, and applying insights to guide content strategy and development.
Additional Information
Google provides individualized compensation, considering skills, experience, and education. The salary range in the US location is $111,000 to $160,000 per year, accompanied by a 15% target bonus, equity options, and benefits.
