Project Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join the European Datacentre Competency Centre (DCCC) located in Dublin. This position involves working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to support the expansion of Wilo’s data centre operations throughout Europe. Reporting to the Engineering and Operations Manager of the DCCC, this role is highly customer-focused and technical, dealing with complex applications in the data centre industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess client specifications to determine relevant requirements for Wilo's scope of supply.
• Convert contractor demands into clear technical instructions for internal design and construction teams.
• Facilitate product selection, preparation of necessary documentation, submittals, and compliance verification.
• Work closely with internal teams, Wilo subsidiaries, and third-party collaborators to ensure project success.

Candidate Profile

• A qualified engineer with relevant experience, preferably in project management, technical support, or customer-engagement engineering roles.
• A dedication to customer service with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and strong ability to prioritize tasks.
• Adaptability to fluctuating workloads and responsiveness under dynamic, fast-paced conditions.
• Familiarity with business systems and a drive to enhance technical and digital competencies as systems evolve.
• Commercial insight to understand and interpret customer needs, promoting appropriate technical solutions.
