Job Responsibilities
- Formulate fire safety strategies applicable to diverse building and infrastructure sectors.
- Review design documents to ensure compliance with current codes, conducting analysis and creating compliance solutions including customized performance-based fire engineering designs.
- Carry out formal peer reviews of fire engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate with various internal and external technical teams to provide tailored project and client advice.
- Manage tasks to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality outputs adhering to established standards.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
- Have at least 5 years of experience working with fire and smoke modeling tools such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), zone models, and evacuation modeling techniques.
- Proficient in developing fire safety strategies aligned with UK and international codes of practice.
- Experienced with performance-based fire engineering standards, including BS 7974 and NFPA 101.
- Familiarity with international codes such as British Standards, NFPA, and IBC.
- Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders.
- Excellent written English skills, especially for technical report preparation.

Location and Contract Details
The roles are based in Bengaluru, Karnataka and Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Employment is permanent, full-time under the buildings market within building services discipline. Reporting will be to the Principal Engineer, Fire & Life Safety Lead.
