Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Design and develop fire safety strategies applicable to a variety of building and infrastructure sectors.
• Review design proposals against current fire safety codes and develop tailored performance-based engineering solutions.
• Conduct formal peer reviews of fire engineering work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to provide project and client-specific fire safety advice.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed programmes, budgets, and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess an engineering or science degree relevant to the discipline.
• Have at least 5 years of experience with fire and smoke modeling tools, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD), zone models, and evacuation modeling; this is considered advantageous.
• Demonstrate experience developing fire safety strategies compliant with UK and international codes of practice.
• Possess working knowledge of performance-based fire engineering regulations such as BS 7974 and NFPA 101, with experience applying British Standards, NFPA, IBC, and other international codes.
• Exhibit strong English communication skills for interaction with clients, project teams, and report writing.
