Job Overview
Wills Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a full-time permanent position at a newly established site in Newbridge, Ireland. This role involves being part of a newly formed resident maintenance team operating under a Suez shift pattern covering days and nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Shift Manager and cover for them as needed.
- Take the lead during significant site stoppages and participate in meetings with customers.
- Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to exacting standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or multi-disciplinary technical problems.
- Perform technical audits and promote ongoing improvements in site operations.
- Maintain solid professional relationships with customers and team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Holding an ONC, HNC, or a full B-Tech qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience working with conveyors, sorters, cranes, robotics, and PLC/control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a customer-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) processes, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Additional Information
- The candidate must possess full legal authorization to work in either the UK or Ireland; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Salary offered is €66,250 per annum along with benefits.
