Hygiene Technician - Napier Area

About the Role

Join Rentokil Initial as a Hygiene Technician based in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. This role involves providing hygiene and cleaning services in the field, ensuring sites remain clean and operational. The position is Monday through Friday, covering all locations within Napier, with a company vehicle provided for daily travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload the service vehicle daily to fulfill assigned tasks.
• Deliver cleaning services in washrooms and public toilets in line with client guidelines and specifications.
• Replenish and maintain hygiene supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitisers, sanitary bins, and air fresheners.
• Identify hygiene risks and client concerns to improve workplace environments.
• Complete detailed service reports documenting all tasks performed.
• Offer excellent customer service while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Remain attentive to client needs to find opportunities for enhancing service quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess full-time permanent work eligibility in New Zealand.
• Hold a valid full and clean driver’s license along with a clear criminal record.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Be physically fit with a strong commitment to health and safety practices.
• Exhibit self-motivation and excellent time management skills.
• Maintain high attention to detail and take pride in quality standards.
• Be comfortable utilizing mobile applications and technology.
• Willingness to travel and undertake overnight stays when necessary.
• Experience in cleaning or hygiene roles is advantageous but not required.
