Heavy Vehicle Driver

Overview

Astrea Group is looking for a dependable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver who holds a valid UAE Trailer Driving License (Category No. 4). This role requires ensuring the safe and punctual transport of materials, equipment, and goods to various project sites across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles and trailers in strict adherence to UAE traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Transport materials and goods between company facilities, warehouses, factories, suppliers, and project locations.
• Perform daily inspections of vehicles and report any mechanical or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and ensure it remains roadworthy.
• Ensure deliveries are executed accurately, safely, and within the expected timeframe.
• Accurately complete all trip records, mileage logs, fuel consumption reports, and delivery documentation.
• Follow correct procedures for loading, unloading, and securing cargo.
• Adhere to company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and operational guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Trailer Driving License (Category No. 4).
• Possession of additional UAE license categories (3, 6, or 8) is advantageous.
• Minimum of two years' experience driving heavy vehicles within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE roadways, traffic laws, and heavy vehicle safety standards.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi is preferred, with Arabic as an additional benefit.
• Physically fit, dependable, punctual, and dedicated to upholding high safety standards.
