Healthcare Recruiter

Role overview

This opportunity is with a mission-oriented organization focused on growth, innovation, and community impact. The team is looking for a recruiter who can partner closely with business leaders, approach hiring strategically, and help attract talent for important healthcare positions.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end sourcing and hiring process for high-volume, business-critical healthcare roles across the Tampa metro area.
• Work with hiring managers to anticipate staffing requirements, review turnover trends, and build forward-looking recruiting plans for growing programs.
• Attend community events, schools, and facilities throughout the region to create local connections, support career awareness, and develop relationships with both managers and prospective candidates.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate movement and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system and recruitment CRM tools.

What the employer is looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting or human resources is required; healthcare recruiting background is strongly preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Applicants must be based in Tampa or the surrounding area; candidates from Orlando are not eligible.
• PHR or SHRM-CP credentials are an added advantage.

Compensation and work setup

The pay rate is $36 to $40 per hour, depending on experience and internal equity review.

This is a temp-to-perm contract role with a hybrid/remote work arrangement. A full remote workstation, including a company computer and required peripherals, will be sent to your home.
