Global Application Manager

About the Role

Become a pivotal part of Hitachi Energy's mission to digitally transform manufacturing operations as an IT Application Manager. This role focuses on enhancing manufacturing execution systems (MES) and driving operational efficiency by leveraging technology and collaborative process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide training and ongoing support to both key and end users to maximize system capabilities.
• Promote awareness of new features and encourage adoption throughout teams.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of incident and change request management to resolution.
• Ensure all technical documentation is accurate and readily accessible.
• Work collaboratively on vulnerability assessments and implement security enhancements.
• Maintain application configurations and ensure the integrity of SNOW and CMDB data.
• Analyze and enhance MES/ECS processes to better align with manufacturing operations.
• Collect user insights to drive continuous improvement and system upgrades.

Candidate Profile

• A relevant degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience working with manufacturing execution systems, ECS, or similar industrial systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of incident and change management frameworks.
• Experienced in system integration, configuration management, and documentation standards.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in vulnerability management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
